"Your probably thinking, digital? Really? Yes, you read that right."
Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, impasto, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer.
Traditional painting is painting with a physical medium as opposed to a more modern style like digital.
Digital painting thrives mostly in production art. It is most widely used in conceptual design for film, television and video games.
I have always been fascinated by art, museums and paintings. When I found the ability to create digital paintings of my photographs, I was once again astounded by the sheer talent of technology! It is so amazing to see something that looks exactly as we dream it to be, like these paintings! Each painting can take 1-2 hours or much longer to recreate the photograph. There are 7 different painting strokes to observe and work with such as an oil pastel, pencil sketch, the broken color technique by Claude Monet, chunks of heavy paint and patches - originated by Jean B. Camille and even Mediterranean tones - originated by Frank Benson. What fun!
I know that to paint the sea really well, you need to look at it every hour of every day in the same place so that you can understand its way in that particular spot and that is why I am working on the same motifs over and over again, four or six times even.

A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.

Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.
